Pink Tourmaline or Pink Topaz & Pink Sapphire  are lovely stones; & becoming popular for valentine & engagement rings.   What is the difference between them?  Sapphire is of course stronger than Topaz & therefore a more valuable stone.  As for clitter Topaz can hold it's own with sapphire (white topaz more closely resembles diamond in sparkle than white sapphire usually does) & tends to be in deeper hues of pink than sapphire.
