Our Policy & Guarantees

We endeavor to supply quality products at the cheapest price we can. Our description of pieces, carat weigh & gem quality are as our suppliers state. They are stated in all good faith. Feel free to contact us at any time if you have genuine reason to feel an item is not as stated. We will always deal in an honest & friendly manner. We will ship as promptly as we can, & will contact you if there are any unexpected delays. We can only give an estimate of shipping times. Once posted, it is out of our control; therefore our prices INCLUDE insurance. We will only accept returns if we are notified there is a problem immediately an item arrives. Please note that as many of our items are hand made, they can occasionally take a few weeks to acquire if they are out of stock.  This means better quality & lower prices for you.  On average about 5% of items are back-ordered.  We will gladly offer a full refund if an item has been discontinued.  At GemLovers we believe in the intelligence of our customers.  We are an internet site; therefore we assume our customers know both the advantages & disadvantages of internet marketing.  Disadvantages include the fact the parcels can go astray in the post.  While your purchases are insured, this does not stop disappoinment from occuring.  Also internet purchasing means waiting for your goods to arrive;  if it is absolutely essential to receive an item immediately, conventional shopping may be a better option for you or in the case of gift-giving, a card with a note that a gift is arriving by post is an alternative if you are concerned about delays.

Ring Sizes

Just to repeat what is stated elsewhere:- All our gemstone rings (eg. our gold rings beginning with with the symbol RA) are manufactured in limited sizes only. Our rings are handcrafted in most cases & our jewellers decided what sizes & how many sizes they will make a particular style in.  This is one way we keep our prices so low.   As a guide most styles are available in sizes 6 & 7 for woman + 9 & 10 for men & sometimes other sizes as well.   We can therefore only supply to closest size available to what you order.   All our rings are solid gold (or silver) & can therefore be easily & cheaply re-sized.  

Most other rings are available in all sizes & half-sizes. Therefore we ask you to put the size you prefer on the details of the order form.  Please email if you are shipped a wrong size as guarantees vary.  
To all our anxious Engagement Ring buyers:- Please remember we are NOT your local jewellers store. Our prices are much lower, but you have to wait for your goods. Usually that is only a short time, but unexpected delays can occur. To give a general idea of delivery times of our engagement rings:- our diamond engagement rings beginning in K (except Blackhill Gold) are usually shipped within 3 days of getting your order (often sooner). Black Hill items are 3-5 days, again often sooner. Unusual sizes may delay shipping by a day or two. Items beginning in RA, (our gorgeous gemstone rings) can sometimes take a while longer. If an item is in stock it will be shipped within 4 or 5 days; if it is out of stock it can be 2-3 weeks.  Your ordering from this store signifies you understand this.
