Tips for Men Buying Jewellery Gifts for Ladies
Do you want to buy something special for your special lady? Or has a close female friend or relative has reached a milestone in her life? You want her to remember this occasions always; therefore you know jewellery would be an ideal gift? But what will I buy? Will she like it? Perhaps chocolate or flowers might be easier after all............. Don't despair, we have plenty of advise to help you. Where Do I Start? What Style of Jewellery Should I Get? Should it be earrings, a pendant, a ring or perhaps a bracelet or brooch? If she has pierced ears, earrings may be a logical choice. What style:- well what have you seen her wear? (You can't not notice earrings staring into someone's eyes!) Classtial styles of earrings never date. Most women wear pendants; if you have only known her for a short while they can be an ideal choice. It's hard to go wrong. Bracelets are something most women will remember. (Almost all women wear bracelets, but often forget to buy them for themselves.) A bracelet or pendant also are excellent choices for a "special occasion" when the woman is not someone you are romantically involved with. Many wives & daughters love getting rings. As long as you know a woman's tastes rings make good gifts; particularly for anniverary presents.
Bracelet Examples:- Here are 3 examples of bracelets/bangles that would be suitable for a variety of occasions & for most women. The opal & emerald bangle - a reasonable exensive item - is what I would call a neautral colour combination. Almost everyone would like it; it never goes out of style & all females would wear it at least on special occasions & most women would probably not think to buy it for themselves. If you knew your female friend only ever wore white gold or silver, then perhaps it may not be the best gift. Our delightful butterfly bracelet is an example of a present that could be romantic; but as it is so feminine & classy would suit everyone. The example shown in white gold with tanzanite and opal is again a very safe choice. It would match all wardrobes and tastes. Finally, if you are totally unsure of colour; how about our rainbow tennis bracelet! Can you think of someone that wouldn't suit?

Another decision to make - Will I buy White, Yellow Gold or Silver? If the woman in your life has a special dislike of yellow gold or silver, you probably know it by now. What does she wear? Look at her earrings & rings. Apart from rings; most women wear of mixture of silver, white or yellow gold in their jewellery. If you're conservative you should have no problems. You will notice for example most of our emeralds are set in yellow gold; our colour photos will guide you. Example:- traditionally black pearls go well with white gold, white pearls with yellow as our photos illustrate. While pearls can look great the other way around, if you're unsure follow the more traditional pattern.

| What Coloured Gemstone? This can be the part some men find the most difficult. You have a “colourful woman” so want to give her a beautiful coloured gemstone? Which one?. Where do I start? Firstly:- What colours do you like? What colours does she like? What colours does she wear most often? Buy a stone in that colour - or ones that matches it. eg. If she favours 'mauve' amethyst would match it; however amethyst would also compliments (or contast nicely) with pink or yellow as also does sapphire which ofcourse matches blue. Pink Tourmaline of course matches pink, compliments white, light grey & mauve and contrasts beautifully with black, brown, dark grey & even purple. For a lady who often wears black & white, the rich red of garnet is a lovely match. Or you may like to buy a gem to match her eyes or hair, such as aquamarine for blue/grey eyes, or citrine for your red-haired lovely. Or the colour may be chosen to compliment a skin tone. eg. blue-topaz set in white gold looks lovely on a lady of African or Oceania descent, or garnet in yellow gold looks great on a fair-skined beauty. Opal or pearls are of course always a "safe" choice. Also few people dislike sapphire. Aquamarine, tanzanite & sometimes peridot have soft hues that are unoffensive & will be appreciated & worn even if not the woman's favourite. Also you can be assured that your imagination and sense of adventure in buying something a little different will do you no harm in her eyes!
