Is there a difference between precious and semi-precious gemstones?

The term "semi-precious" is somewhat misleading as it suggests that some gemstones have inferior value. Years ago, most people considered Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire as the "precious" gemstones and all others as "semi-precious." In truth, all natural coloured gemstones are rare and precious and their prices are determined by the availability and quality of the gemstone.  Some stones like Tanzanite are only found in limited supply in limited locations.  For these reasons they make excellent investments.

Is there a Way to Save on My Purchases?

Whatever colour you admire, there is a gemstone to fit your budget. Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire are the classic red, green and blue gemstones. While these gemstones are readily available in small sizes, larger sized stones can cost large dollars.  If however, red, green or blue is what you're after, you may want to consider alternative gemstones in these hues.  A stunning Pink Tourmaline is a cheaper alternate to sapphire, Peridot & Tsavorite are exquisite green gemstones. Garnet or a magnificent blue Tanzanite look stunning. Every colour is available in the gemstone kingdom and stones look even more lovely teamed with our white F-G coloured diamonds! We have quality jewellery in a variety of sizes and price ranges.  Why settle for synthetic when you can enjoy the real thing at a price you can afford.
